Rondo had an unstoppable night in game 3, Lebron had one tonight.  That's all there was.  Problem with doublin is they still have shooters.  Battier and chalmers were makin some shots too.  Heat took care of business, we did not

Lebron was making shots when there were three guys on him.  It was that type of night.

Celtics could have still been in this game if they didn't miss so many open shots, if Rondo played more like himself and didn't turn the ball over so many times and if defenders put some bodies on Lebron after shots.

I agree with the double.

Once he started to continue to make shots in the second half I think it would have been a good time.

Lebron was in fire and hitting tough shots that you can live with on most nights. Tonight was not one of those nights and I would have liked to see us adjust accordingly.

I can guarantee if Lebron starts playing and shooting like that in game 7 Doc will absolutely adjust. He's not just gonna sit back and say "hey it worked the first few games"

Well, if you look at the top story on this blog, you'll see that at least someone else believes that you let him keep shooting.  The biggest problem was that we were not consistent enough on offense to make him or anyone else feel the pressure.  We have to hope that he takes those same shots next game, as that is our best chance to win.

And to whoev said PP is a great passer too, you just have no idea.   Lebron is an all time passer.  I've always thought he was. Ore magic Johnson than Michael Jordan.  That's how good a passer he is and he would absolutely shred this team if we tried to double him all night.  We'd lose for sure.

I would have liked to have thrown a trap at LeBron just to break his rhythm, but i thought a big turning point in the game was when Doc allowed Wade to go one-on-one with Marquis for like 3 straight possessions in the second quarter. Wade scored on Marquis every time. If we're going to allow James to go off, then we need to keep a trap on Wade at all times but we didn't do that.

Yeah you want lebron taking those outside jumpers/contested shots but at some point when he's 14-15 you gotta get the ball out of his hands. Im sure Doc was hoping he would regress in the second half but when he didn't we should have been more aggressive defensively against him.

Lebron is a better passer than scorer.  He's huge and can pass out of double teams and kill you.  I have no problem not doubling Lebron.  You have to make him take those shots.  He made them.

No doubling James, he'll kill us with those passes. That's what Doc thinks. And who on the Miami Team besides James is capable of hitting enough successive shots to destroy that logic? Hasn't been happening in this Series. Doc would let him shoot Bulls Eyes forever LOL. Any one with a brain would think, hey, LaBron is going to have a big game. He's overdue. Lets keep it reasonable. Nuff bout Doc and his genius. He didn't bring any here nor did he learn any here.

It wasn't until we started doubling and trapping in the fourth quarter that the game got out of hand.
