If we were to trade pierce I would do it for a pick and then Sign Crash since he opted out.

PP, is like a good used car that still runs just fine with 500,000 miles . There is no need to get rid of it , you can't get a trade in value that will just equal its worth in its present utility capacity.  SO you keep the old car , when its finally played out /repair not feesible, park her in the back yard on blocks....  we love ya Pierce.!!!

Long and short of it is..

If KG retires/leaves then the Cs need to trade pierce. If KG stays then Pierce has to stay and this draft is really about adding talent to the stables for the future.

If we're going to trade Pierce we migh as well fully blow it all up. So I'd rather not sign Wallace to a deal when we should be playing younger players trying to develop them.

But even blowing it up you still gotta spend the money somewhere.  Im not saying make him a max contract centerpiece guy, but im saying it wouldnt hurt bringing him in if the money and years were right.

Wallace would be low on my list as he is 30 years old and looking for his last big contract in all likelyhood.

I'd hand out money to younger prospects or potential guys before Wallace. (Illysova, etc, though who knows where Wallace's price is in comparison)
