I don't mean to be rude here, but does Larry Bird not making a decision really warrant its own CB thread for further discussion?

If you're looking for an honest answer, yes it does.

This announcement though is made in response to the previous widespread piece that Bird was already retiring, with one of Reggie Miller or Chris Mullens in line to take his spot.

And I'm interested to see what Larry Legend does.  Whatever it is, I hope he can ride off into the sunset like he deserves.

Looks like he's finally cleaned up the mess from the brawl and put a good team together.  I think that was what he was sticking around to do.
