Miami's third best player is better than the Pacer's best player. I don't see this being much of a series.

eh, im not sure Bosh is better than Granger/David west.

its all about matchups in the playoffs, and with miami's weak frontline, David west/Hibbert should be able to take on any of their bigs offensively
Bosh is easily better than Granger and West on both sides of the floor.  The only reason Bosh isn't still putting up 22+/10 is because he is on a team with James and Wade and even then he is still 18/8.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Hibbert from what I saw in the Magic games looked awful and if David West trys to go off I could easily LeBron sliding over on to defend him to make him uncomfortable

Seconded. Chris Bosh is much more talented, and physically more gifted than either Danny Granger or David West, and proved as much before he even went to the Heat.

That said, I think Paul George and Roy Hibbert are the two most important guys in the series. If George can hit his spot-up 3's (he didn't last series) and defend one of Wade/James at all times at a level that significantly takes them below their typical performances, it'll open up a lot of things. It'll create better spacing for West/Hibbert to operate on offense, and it'll allow for Hibbert to do what he does best on defense, hover around the hoop and bother shots.

I think those saying Pacers in 5 are underestimating the Pacers, but probably not overestimating the Heat.

Heat in 6 or 7 is just as, if not more likely.

Indiana is a nice young team with a lot of depth, but they lack stars and in the playoffs rotations shrink and their top 8/9 just isn't good enough to be a legit contender.  They really need to try and move some young pieces to get a game changing star.  Not sure how they could do it, but that is what they need to reach the next level (maybe George could get there, but I thought he would take a step up this year and he hasn't so maybe he doesn't have it in him).

Are you kidding?  Hibbert's way better than Mario Chalmers!

Hmm really? Ive heard analysts and commentators give the Pacers tons of praise. The heat are just too good. And even though the pacers should give the heat a good challenge, i still think the heat will take them out in 5.
