Well the first game you had rondo & greg play well so my guess is his foot/feet are much worse than most are thinking.  I don't think he's practiced in quite awhile and my guess is doc is giving him rest so when he is really needed he'll play.

  • You say when......
Someone else brought this up, but why did he ONLY play 8 minutes???  3 rebounds and 1 block in 8 freaking minutes.  Please help me understand this and get off of Doc for this.

Thanks,

Smitty77
He rebounded.....doc does NOT support this type of behavior...do you see anyone doing this except rondo..?

could of used a shot blocker today guys getting in the paint and causing havoc, too bad doc won't play him, probably greg will end up like another tony allen, excelling elsewhere.

Hollins played well tonight, I don't get the complaint.

I think Doc prefers Hollins quickness and athleticism against Horford.

Hollins superior defense on bigs away from the rim and ability to cover more ground in help-and-recover sequences away from the rim.

hawks controlled the paint, scored in the paint and dished from the paint, that's the complaint

Yeah I think it is pretty much as simple as that. Didn't Doc and Stiemsma actually explain this during game 2?

Hollins is a better match-up vs. Horford. The reality is, Atlanta is a bad match-up for us, especially if they play Johnson at the 2. Granted, I think we finish them off on Thursday (if Pierce is in better health), but we lose a lot of our advantages vs. them due to match-ups. Bass isn't particularly good vs. Smith, Steamboat is bad vs. Horford, and Bradley has trouble vs. Johnson.
