Guys we can win without rondo...its not like its a guaranteed loss now..last time rondo was out pierce becane the cafilitator and we did fine.

Everyones acting like its over after 1 game

You're right.  Before the first game everyone was convinced it was over too.  You never know what's going to happen in the playoffs, but you can count on players having to readjust from the type of games you see in the regular season, more physical games, less experienced players having problems, and a lot more coaching adjustments and game planning.  I'm confident that KG, Rondo and Pierce will play better and less confident about everyone else although I think Pietrus and Stiemsma will be fine.  It is very important that Ray returns and the sooner the better.  The lack of spacing on offense was apparent and he's a veteran clutch performer.

Bradley is likely going to struggle just as Rondo did in his first playoffs.  We'll find out how well he adjusts and what gets exposed.  In this series, the Hawks are going to post him up with their large wing players and it's a problem I don't know that we have an answer for, though hitting your own shots is one step forward.  Bass also has to be more assertive.  Some of the guys got out of rhythm and were playing to fast offensively while Bass shrank until late in the game.  He has to take his shots when they are there.  We could use one of the scrubs to step up, but as we've seen in the past, more often than not there's a reason why they're scrubs.

I look for a win with or without Rondo Tuesday.  They got the bad game out of the way.

4-1

+1.

Sounds like he's going to miss a game, bugger. I was hoping for just a fine....

I hate David Stern.  He never holds officials accountable.
Whether or not he does something about the officials isn't really related to whether or not Rajon should be accountable.

Well said.
Rondo reminded me of Paul Pierce vs Indiana (Ron Artest) when he got ejected a few years back.
Too emotional.

These are not the times when like the Chief (Robert Parrish) you can go on the warpath and attack Lambier

I see a two game suspension.

I hope you're wrong, 2 games would be ridiculous. He deserves one at the most. But who knows what will happen with a moron like Stern in charge

Back to wanting Joe fired.

I'm sensing a win in Game 2. There's going to be a sense of urgency. KG will play great. Paul will drop 30. Im still confident that they can pull it off.

Series heads to Boston, tied 1-1.

The silver lining is that maybe this Rondo suspension could light a fire under the Celtics. Maybe they'll play with life the rest of the series

Another silver lining: Marc Davis' officiating assignments are tweaked so that he does not ref another Celtics game this postseason.

That's nice, but after the game against the Hawks April 11th, he should never have gotten to ref a C's game agian.

True, I agree that by rule Rondo should be suspended a game.  Like I said, Stern NEVER holds the officials accountable for their actions, though.

absolutely....he enables and protects them, which is so detrimental to the league.

Knew it was coming.     I am glad it was only one game.

Stern has never been lenient to us do you recall him with Reggie Lewis, we got no exemption due to the NBA Board of Governors and Stern when he died.  He is a joke putting up with refs like Joey Crawford and Davis they suck so badly yet they are untouchable.
