It was not much of a bump, Davis is a horrible egotistical ref.  He got in Rondo's face as much as vice versa.

Not even close to being the same, that was an accident, what RR did wasn't! Hope for just a fine but RR didn't accidentally bump dude!

Sorry that was a joke. I was looking for video of KG shoving Rush in that Hawks series in 08 couldn't find it though. Did rule change since then? Or is it going to be a based on past history?

I'd be absolutely shocked if he isn't handed a suspension.

I think that would be ridiculous. 

The only reason I could see it happening is out of concern that Rondo hasn't learned his lesson with the ball-throwing suspension and needs an escalating penalty in this case.

He bumped a referee.

How would a suspension for that be "ridiculous"?  Touching an official is one of the biggest non-nos in sports.

... and it's also specifically against the rules:

"Any player or coach guilty of intentional physical contact with an official shall automatically be suspended without pay for one game. A fine and/or longer period of suspension will result if circumstances so dictate."

If the NBA enforces its own rulebook, I think a suspension is mandated.  The only discretion comes if they deem the contact wasn't "intentional".
