Anybody watched the He-Man movie? I am watching it and there is some entertainment value to it, but some aspects are so bad. In particular, Skeletor looks like such bad CGI and the movements just doesn't match with the talking that makes it so unbearable. I am curious how it ends so now I am watching to finish it but I saw some people say it was good, and besides the few entertaining portions, I just don't see it.

Primate (2025) is a horror movie where we are introduced to a family that has a chimp (Ben) as a pet. He is considered part of their family. However everything changes when he is bitten by another animal and is infected with rabbies. The movie is filled with great tension, especially since you don't know what Ben will do. Some of the kills are very graphic. I had a great time watching this and will definitely be seeing it multiple times in the future.

I watched He-man and I was too old for the toys and cartoons and found it entertaining.  Hail Mary was good.  The new Spiderman movie was great,.

Just saw Disclosure Day.  was pretty good but not as good as what I was expecting for a Spielberg movie

The Rivals Of Amziah King (w/ Matthew McConaughey)

This movie premiered at SXSW a year and a half ago. All I heard was what how great it was, so I was extremely excited to see it for a long time. To say it was a disappointment would be a massive understatement.

You ever dislike a movie so much it just puts you in a foul mood for the rest of the day? Yeah, that was pretty much my experience with this one.

Recently watched Netflix The Rip and Project Hail Mary.

I think if Damon and Affleck are going to team up they need to do better than this. The Rip was a little difficult to follow at times but mostly the problem was not a great story and subpar acting. No one was particularly believable in their role and the surprise twist wasn?t very surprising.

Project Hail Mary was a decent premise and kept my interest most of the time. An OK but not great movie. Ryan Gosling was likable in the role but his acting is mediocre.  The alien was endearing in an ET sort of way.  A number of unexplained, just have to accept, moments.  And while I didn?t like the ending at all, I suppose some would like it.  Overall worth the watch but again, not great.

Watched Spiderman. It was okay. Didn't love the some on the fights. Think just some slight changes in story would have made a much better and more closer to comic book lore. We can official now call this Spiderman the strongest "non-cosmic Spiderman"  ever though.

I get the sense that a lot of fans put the new Spider-man into the "good but not great" category.  For me, I loved it.  I don't know why, maybe I was just in a great mood that day, but I thought it worked both as a good Spider-man story and as an introduction to Sadie Sink's character.

A lot of the Marvel movies seem like they're shoehorning in other characters, or that the movie only exists to set up plotlines in future movies.  And, I know that some folks feel that way about this movie, too.  But, I thought it worked as a cohesive whole.
