3/22/2012   2:50pm   Haven't seen a peep- no tweets, no twits, no leaks, no rumors?

2morrow is one deadline.  Let's hear what you got--information and I guess speculation also.

Look at the other thread.  Hollins is probably signing per several sources , maybe as early as today and they are still looking to fill another one per Blakely...

 A. Sherrod Blakely ‏ @SherrodbCSN
#CelticsTalk: The #Celtics aren't necessarily done just yet. There is interest in adding another big man besides Hollins.

In order to make room for Hollins, #Celtics expected to waive Chris Wilcox.

#CelticsTalk: The #Celtics working on contract to sign Ryan Hollins, who just cleared waivers at 2 p.m. Deal could be done as early as today

NP

It sounds like KG and Pierce helped push the signing according to Blakely...

Why waive Wilcox? I thought Marquis was being waived, and JO is done. Why not hold onto Wilcox's rights for next season?

We would only have early bird rights which aren't much and we'll have a ton of cap space anyways.

If O'Neals contract is in fact insured that could be the reason for not waiving him first.

Since Doc clearly ain't gonna try JJJ at the spot, Boston needs a 3rd wing in case both Pierce and Pietrus get into foul trouble or one of them gets hurt.  And I doubt it'll be hard to resign Wilcox if Doc wants him back.  He's not exactly going to demand top dollar on the open market.
