"@SpearsNBAYahoo: Wizards actively trying to trade C Javale McGee, but one GM said, "they are asking for the world," sources say."

I bet Danny asked then were asked for too much

Sigh...the Wizards are clearly delusional thinking anyone is going to give up the world for JaVale McGee. I want the kid but he's nowhere near worth all that.

If we go after a center I would hope it's Kaman. McGee has the basketball intelligence and work ethic of a druken gnat.

He wasnt planking after this recent one. You'd think he'd be ready to catch the ball in transition.

The worrying part is that there is new ones of these EVERY WEEK. Not just from his rookie year or early on.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

He had 21 and 18 in this particular game. I'll give him a pass lol

He does seem like a knucklehead a little bit but guys who can put up 21 / 18 nights have something are worth taking a look at.

I'm wondering if he came to a good program like the Celtics with all the Vets, Doc, Ainge, etc. and he was engrossed in a winning program, does the kid get dialed in and grow up?

If he focused just on defense and rebounding, he could be an absolute nightmare along side KG on defense.

For the right price I would 100%, without reservation go after this kid. If it doesn't work out, you will be able to move him anyway. There will always be a team that will take a flyer on a 7 foot center with good to decent skills - just look at the history of the NBA.

As dumb as he seems to be, I think our need is desperate enough to consider him. It's one of those high-risk-high-reward moves.
I moved the cheese.
