Blow it up and give me another 2012 1st rounder preferably before 25 and I'm happy.

I feel the same, although I would be really happy if Ainge found a way to turn one of the Big 3 (probably Pierce) into a really promising young player (or handful of young players).

e.g.

Pierce for Splitter / Leonard
Pierce for Turner / Young
Pierce for Josh Smith.

Wow you guys are really that excited about the idea of landing a pick that get us the next, Jajuan, Bradley, Giddens, tony allen, Gerald Green?  Maybe, just maybe if we are lucky enough we can turn those picks into a team like the Wizards!

I don't think that's where the excitement lies.
It lies in moving that pick as part of a larger package to acquire a star player. Capspace and picks are our best friend in rebuilding/re tooling.
ala Kevin Garnett in 2007.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Picks like that brought us KG and RA and ultimately nr 17!
