Beasley and Turner on the same team would be kinda funny, wouldn't it?

Two highly touted college players picked #2 overall (behind two very good #1 picks) that have turned into fairly disappointing NBA players, though both have shown flashes of more.

I think Houston would need another deal elsewhere to make this worthwhile for them. I don't think Pierce has enough All-Star caliber years left in him to be worth it if they can't put together a genuine title contender very quickly.

I'd like to see Phily get a backup wing. Pietrus would be a great. A two guard with real size and physical defense to play behind (the lightweight) Kevin Martin.

Seems to me that the Rockets should pursue that Evan Turner for Kevin Martin trade. Make Turner their new starting small forward alongside Courtney Lee on the wing.

I include kanter in the trade for a few reasons.

If you read any Jazz fan sites 90% of them love rondo, one of the few teams where this is true. Many of them actually over value him like a homer celtics fan would. They also want D Harris out of there really bad. Those two things coupled with Favors being a high potential guy and Milsap being about rondos age and playing amazing leads me to believe utah could move kanter (at least there fan base seems for it, not sure about there front office).

I love the idea of turner playing PG while defending the 2. Avery will be a nice fit next to turner, as will any SG who is undersized and athletic enough to guard PGs (austin rivers?). In a perfect situation a 3 guard rotation of Turner, Rivers, and Bradely has alot of potential. If they meet there potential that's a great rotation.

Bass + Pietrus could also be send to dallas in this trade

this would open up roster space for the rondo,ray and pierce trades. It also moves contracts for dallas giving them move free cap space for D Howard + D Williams

This deal would likely leave Bledsoe the odd man out so the Cs could look to further move him to a team that needs a young PG (Toronto or Phoenix)for a young player or pick.

Adding Beabouis would give us a second (Avery) under sized athletic SG to play along side Turner while turner is given the green light to play point and then defend SGs.

Odom would play out 1.5 years with the Cs then come off the books with Harris. (His issues have been well documented, dallas would probably love to move him for two productive bench players)
