The thing is though, they still don't play very much defense.

They've been pretty solid this year though...they're top 6 in defensive efficiency. Only Boston, Chicago, Philly, Portland, and Dallas have been better.

Not worried about NY. Once Melo comes back they'll go back to sucking

This Lin dude will take the Knicks to heights we've been dreaming of for a couple years now. Lin takes a team to victories in ways Rondo can't. A perfect player for the NBA. It's only 5 games now but he has the tools.

From March 7-23rd, we play 9 out of 10 games on road with a tough set of opponents including lakers, clippers, nuggets, hawks and Phi 2 times. It is hard for me to see silver lining in that trip. I would expect 500 play rest of way if we do not get major injuries. I am not happy with prospect of 8th seed either.

Our schedule so far has been very favorable and we are in 7th position. I have run out of excuses and just don't see how we could make a serious run of more than 1 series in the playoffs.

Danny needs to be careful though and not ruin our chance at rebuilding in next 2 years. Please Danny dont bog us down with some Vin Baker albatross

There is the amnesty clause to clear out the Vin Bakers and Mark Blounts of this league.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

No, there isn't.

You can only amnesty a player once, and you can only do that for somebody you had on contract when the new CBA was sign.

So any players we sign or acquire through trade will be with us for the duration of their contracts.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.
