7 points, 10 fouls, 0 steals the last two games.  6 fouls in 18 minutes against the Magic 3 weeks ago.
0 steals from our center. Is that the best "anti-stat" you were able to find? How about the 3 blocks in the last 2 games? How about the 9 blocks in the last 5? How about the fact that he's second in the NBA in charges taken per game while playing a lick over 20 minutes? Way to frame an argument.
Seeing as how we're always behind due to his 42% shooting and inability to get on the fast break he better be good at taking charges. All those times the roadrunner ran over the coyote those were charges. That's JON all right
Of course that's why we're behind. In fact, if he were shooting 60% from the field, he'd be making, on average, the grand total of 0.8 extra field goal per game. I'm sure the 2 points will come in handy.

It depends.  Is Doc gonna retire in a year or two?

For some reason Thibs looks like a guy who is always gonna coach somewhere to me. You know a guy who will be coaching a High School team in his home town when he's 85.  He may have a longer shelf life.

  They're both great coaches.

Judging by the way Thibs looks these days, I'd be shocked if he actually lives to 85.

Thibs teams can't score without Derrick Rose.
And as much as people rail on doc about riding his starters, Thibs is worse at it.

Makes me think the Atlanta game where Doc got thrown out and he didn't make a single sub for the rest of the time wasn't an abberation.

No thanks.

As great a coach Thibs is, I'm happy with Doc Rivers.

With the way some people around here already complain about Doc & minutes, wait 'til they see things with Thibs.

Even the Bulls owner is making comments about Thibs' rotations.

I would trade our roster for Chicago's roster.

Very good point. When our guys were good and young they played a lot better. However the bulls just beat the crud out of the Celtics in pretty embarrassing fashion.....without D Rose.
Noah, Rose, and Deng have all improved since he arrived.

Prolly not, but I'd sure as hell trade their roster for ours, as well as their MVP point guard
I have 17 reasons why my team is better than yours...

He didn't have the MVP in the last two games and we still looked like chumps. His team basically showed up, grabbed our arms, then started punching us with our fists and was like "Stop punching yourself. Stop punching yourself". Only he did it 100% without D Rose

A resounding YES!!!!

Im getting to the point and Irrate when Doc screams at his rooks but could not do the same when PP or Ray are playing like crap...
even JO who has become uttely useless on offense which has been our main problem at the moment gets a freakin pass. TBH I would rather see JJJ and make mistakes while learning than see JO's corpse

It is good.

Looks like he needs to start avoiding Lou Malnati's, though.
