Not unless K.Love refuses to sign an extension with Minnesota

Kevin refuses no one!

based on his production and versatility, Love is the definition of a max contract player imo. i would absolutely love to see this guy on the Cs but the chances of that happening are slim... with that being said, if anyone can muster up a miraculous out of the blue trade to get him i think that person is DA.

i hope Minny is stupid enough to refrain from offering him an extension before the deadline. like someone stated earlier, we should offer him the max on day 1 to put the pressure on Minny to match early on.

a core built around Rondo and Love would be a great start to the rebuilding/reloading process

I did not realize we were going to trade Rondo to Minnesota  :P
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Very hard to imagine that Minnesota wouldn't match any offer.  They're nowhere near the luxury tax line and they'll find no better replacement with the cap space.  The Wolves we'll have a shot at are Beasley and Randolph reclamation projects.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I think the point is that of course Minny will match any offer this off-season, but if Love doesn't sign an extension, then he becomes unrestricted next year.

If that happens then the Wolves will likely look to trade him before he just walks away, leaving them with nothing.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

He first has to play out next season on a qualifying offer. Maybe he won't be extended, but I can't imagine no-one would offer him a max offer sheet this summer.
