I'g go where the $ is.

The absolute last thing I'd do is take a 1 year deal anywhere...for any reason.  Chandlers stock might never have been as high as it is right now.  Last season proved that the injuries that had his previous contract in question are behind him, and that he's a capable center for a championship team.  He's also in the right place at the right time to get a big deal, as his free agent class is short on bigs, and we're entering a shortened season that could favor veterans (less time needed practicing).

At his age, he needs to secure himself financially.  Granted he's already earned a lot, but as a pro athlete, his career could be done tomorrow.  I'm not going to pull a sprewell, and say he needs to think about feeding his kids, but an extra 20-30 guaranteed million could make a drastic difference on his life after ball.

Was an interesting topic on ESPN's first take. Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless, whose back and forths are often hilarious, debated the topic.
You find screaming, attention grabbers who often don't watch the games or bother to do any research because they always take an extreme opinion and are loud about it, hilarious? You lost me right there......

I was going to go with something shorter, maybe "often hilarious, generally unintentionally".

Take the money and run and pray they don't amnesty that contract, lol, down the road.
