I keep thinking it would be well worth it to acquire Chris Paul by trading Rondo, but then I remembered this game:

That type of grit and heart is rare. I wonder what they might have done last year if Rondo's elbow didn't snap out. All I know is players with Rondo's competitiveness is pretty special.
Pretty special?

not really.
Rondo had been AWOL for months, playing like he was sleep walking prior to
the injury... ever since (1) his bud, Perkins got traded or maybe it was (2)Obama teased him about not being able to shoot.
Where were the grit, the passion, the competitiveness for those long months he
played plain pitiful like he was lost in his own special self-absorbed stupor???
After
the injury, he played with urgency, with passion, fueled by large amounts of plain old fashion adrenalin.
It made great, great theatre and folk lore... but it was way too little, way too late. The series and season were over.
Somebody commented that Rondo needs to get his arm dislocated before every game.
There may be some truth to that.
