I would do this trade in a heartbeat:

BOS to IND: Rondo, Green (signQO),Bradley, 2012 2nd round pick
IND to BOS: Granger, Collison, Hill, George, 2012 1st round pick
Then with our 9mil/3y try to sign Chuck Hayes and S&T BBD with 2013 1st round pick to SAC for Jason Thompson

We would have:
Collison/Hill/West
Allen/Granger/West/George
Pierce/Granger/George
Garnett/Thompson/3J
O'Neal/Hayes/Thompson

Still championchips caliber team and we would still be a players in 2012 free agents poll

  • You say when......
I would ditch BBD 1st..he is he weakest link...NO rebounds, always gets his shot BLOCKED...average 10 footer..that he akes too ofen..Shaq Said he wanted to beat down BBD because he is a ball hog....honest, he said that..! Green is way beer, and he rebounds..dunks too...bbd cannot dunk...unless he has a big Mcnugget..and the dippin sauce is on the rim..!!!

Value-wise, not turrble.  Three problems here:
1.  Not enough minutes to give Granger here.
2.  Not even close to enough minutes to give Paul George what he deserves.
3.  Also, I'm never crazy about giving up the best player in a deal.  Especially, when that player has the most favorable current contract situation.

Maybe swap out George and get Hibbert instead?  I'm way higher on George than Hibbert, but we need to fill that C spot anyways and we'd have no minutes to give George.

Bill Ingram: The Indiana Pacers have done due diligence on Rondo, Nene, but have no intention of acquiring either . . . Twitter

Starting to think we keep Rondo.

I think the our goal should be to limit PP and RA minutes to 28-30...so these leaves Granger about 36 minutes to spell both and enable us to have two of them on court all the time...
And George could be our starting SG if Allen doesnt resign or be trade bait alongside 3J and draft picks for another all-star
