Lee is the only reliable player of the bunch.  He's under contract for small money so no way HOU moves him unless he's demanded in a bigger trade for a player they really want.  If we resign West I don't think we need him anyways.

Hill may stick around the league a little while because of his size.  Williams can't shoot. 

What Danny said is the C's are looking for reliable players so they can compete next year.  Doesn't seem like they're willing to gamble on unproven players that Doc would probably let rust on the pine anyways.

Don't see Lee as a good fit in Boston. Not because he can't shoot, it's more about the type of shots he attempts. We already have a 6'5" shooting guard who nails spot up jumpers. Moreover we need shot creators, and Lee doesn't fit that mold.

Williams grabbed my attention playing for NJ, but I don't think he's worth risking for Green who has a more nuance to his game at this stage. Plus he's abysmal from the field ... 30% 16-23ft. and 20% from mid range.

Jordan Hill is a nice energy guy, decent rotation player. Limited offensive game and not as good as Davis in the PF department.

Celts will stick with Jeff Green here.

Gives us a solid back up center who is an above average rebounder and great energy guy and a James Posey esc guy in Jared Dudley.

I've been totally underwhelmed by Jeff Green, but I am in favor of keeping him around unless any S&T is overwhelming (and I can't see Green getting any *huge* contract offers that would necessitate a S&T).  Green's likely to play a lot of minutes for us next season, backing up Paul but I suspect also playing a lot of PF (with KG playing the 5). 

I mean, isn't that our best avenue right now?  Short of a miraculous MLE signing to bolster the 5 spot (or trading Ray Allen), isn't the best approach to ask KG to take one for the team and start playing more smallball with KG at the 5 and Green at the 4?

I believe the proposed Houston trade would be allowed because the Rockets would be under the cap, but the Phoenix one would not be allowed under the current CBA due to base year compensation.

keep green, I know a lot of people don't believe the thought, but i think he is seriously going to take Boston by storm this year (if there is one)
