Bring back Walker this off-season! The dude plays like a man, not a particular intelligent man, but he's aggressive and assertive. This team needs that off the bench...

Dude, after watching game 2 (April 19) I'm pretty sure he thinks he still works for us.

"You see them on film and they look like they're old and slow, until you get out there and they've got a 7-foot-1 power forward [Garnett] who is more mobile than you think and a point guard [Rondo] who is an emerging superstar and two guys [Pierce and Allen] who never miss big shots. Then you've got JO [O'Neal], who wants to win so badly, and then you realize, they're hungry."

Walker is a fierce competitor as well as a aggressive and versatile defender.

A case can be made that Walker is the worst defender on the Knicks.
A very strong case, he's perhaps the worst wing to get any minutes on a playoff team. (maybe worst wing to get minutes period)

And his offense isn't very good either.

I like Billy Walker, but I would clearly rather have Shawnee Williams if I were to choose a backup small forward from the Knicks.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Nice quote and all, but I've been extremely disappointed with Walker.

He seems to have turned into a dirty player. There isn't a better system for him, yet he seems to be a very angry person on the court.

But props to him for a Pro-Celtic quote like that.

In what way is he dirty?  Physical, yes.  Aggressive, yes.  Emotional, at times yes.  But I wouldn't call him dirty.

His attitude is one of the only things I like about him.  Aside from that he's a supreme athlete who is also a horrid defender and an inefficient (though versatile) offensive player.

Did you not see him shove Ray Allen to the floor for no reason after a shot?

And that's to ex-teammates that he seems to respect.

I don't watch enough of the Knicks to say for sure how he acts all the time, but it is no good.

There's a fine line between passion and dirty. Most would agree KG straddles the line, but Walker seems over it, to me at least.

Ray sold that it was more of a flop than anything if you saw the replay

I saw the replay.  Ray never saw Walker coming for him.  Billie lowered his shoulder like he thought he was Ronnie Lott.  Cheap shot.

Disagree. I think it looked like a flop too. Happy for Billy that he get playing time w/ the Knicks. He's shown some flashes since he's been there, but certainly has a ways to go.

The one thing that left with Perk is the nastiness by example.  It'd be nice to see in any capacity.  But it would need to come from more of a respected player than Walker to resonate.

I like Bill Walker and I think getting rid of him was a win win for both sides, there was and is no time in our rotation for him...and he gets to showcase his talents, which we know he has.
