I remain concerned that he can play through 4 series, but the playoff schedule should be his friend. Based on Baby's play of late (and I've never been a fan, so take this with a grain of salt) - would you play a rotation of:

Shaq / JO at C
KG / Kristic at PF

If everyone was healthy? With JO and KG getting "starters" minutes?

I don't think Krstic is more enough to defend PFs, and he's impressed me less than BBD has.  I think a "healthy" rotation would be Shaq / JO (with Shaq starting and JO getting more minutes), and KG / BBD.

I hear what you are saying but and I agree on the big picture but in this series...

BBD should never evah evah evah...evah check Amare.  It is like watching a fat man @ the buffet.

Unless Doc's plan is "Baby we know you cant stick him so just stay out there do the best you can so KG doesn't foul out"?

It doesn't seem to me like anyone can check Amare.  That guy is a helluva talent.

Now that the general though seems to be that JO can still play NBA level ball and may have a couple good years in him.

If he stays healthy and plays hard taking the C's as far as they can go.

So......Should he be resigned for another 1-2 seasons?

Maybe as "THE" backup for a yet to be named future Celtic center?

People have really underrated J.O. far too strongly as he's struggled with injuries. He's an excellent positional defender and a great shot challenger/blocker with both hands. The question is can he stay healthy and continue to play with confidence? I certainly hope so.

In terms of resigning him I don't think that is really necessary because he is signed through next season. At which point, things could change dramatically in terms of the Celtics roster construction.
