Well at least he's not helping Miami... I still think we're deeper even with him on the bench. If one of our bigs goes down, at least we'll have another one to stick in there other than someone like Scal from years past. It was a no loss signing.

Erden was not a good defensive C, he played at a level comparable to Krstic on the defensive end.

Offensively though Troy is a bigger threat, and he also boards the best of all three of them. Still its looking like he'll be a non-factor for the team.

I don't care if he's a rookie though, its all about winning this year and what you can give the team right now.

I lived in Indiana for five years - I've seen Troy Murphy play a lot of games.  He is slow on rotations and shys away from contact.  He's even worthless with our Celtic defense who is making Kristic even look decent.  No way he is the defender that Erden is.
