Neither Davis nor Garnett are 5's and KG hates playing the center position, anyway. No question the Celtics got the best player in the deal.

Garnett closed most of the playoff games in 2008 at the 5 at small-ball. Davis plays Howard very nicely, and I frankly don't care whether he likes playing it or not. We're trying to win.

Plenty of options at the 5, and as it stands right now I'm thinking we would have had to use them anyway. Wouldn't be surprised to see Perkins, who appears to me to have clearly come back too early, have to shut it down down the road.
