Dahntay Jones for Quis,Gody, and Bradley.Trade 2nd round draft picks if need be.

Indy has a trade exception large enough to buy out both of our rookies and Quis played well for the Pacers. He could also be bought out.

Dahntay Jones, was on the team summer before the championship season, could come right in and fill Quis role. Guard and slash.

Plus it opens up 2 roster spots for a big and another scorer

RIP,Troy Murphy, Jason Kapono, Nocioni
Can't stop, Rondo!

That's a pretty significant overpay, I think.

Little much for a guy not getting to many minutes on the Indiana pacers. I like him a lot. Very good defender. but to much.

Okay, I sense to over sarcasm for the over pay, but the idea here is to open up roster spots without having to just cut players. Quis is done. Gody is worthless for this team. And Bradley won't crack the rotation in the playoffs and is another Giddens in 2 years.

Dahntay is the best quality player that we can get for spare parts from our roster without hurting the chemistry. We open up 2 roster spots and now we can add dependable depth after the deadline.

Why would we overpay in a trade, due to speculation some players *might* get bought out, and *might* sign with the Celtics?  What if they don't?  Then, you've overpaid for absolutely no purpose.

What's the difference between making a gift of your prospects in a trade, and cutting them outright?  At least in the latter scenario, you can hold on to them if a buyout of a valuable player doesn't happen.

I think Indiana would probably send us Jones for Marquis + cash.
