Rip's got the championship experience and seems like a more of a team player and wouldn't affect chemistry as much. Pretty tough choice between those 2 IMO

Interesting how they resemble Ray and Pierce too. Rip's like Ray without the off-the-dribble 3-point shot.  Maggette's like Pierce without the 3-point shot (or the deadly left-handed drive).

I'm sure Doc would prefer the more polished, skilled and steady Hamilton as a smoother fit, but I'd prefer Maggette's rough and ready style.

Of course if Rip gets bought out he's by far the best target.

would love to have Rip on this team! and doesn't he have 2 yrs left, not 3? it'll coincide when the rest of the team will expire. but anyway, i think Rip gets bought out since it's been said that he's willing to give up a significant % to be bought out. who should the C's cut though? i have a feeling it will be Quis.

And if we're going to get Troy Murphy as well on this team, then we'd need to cut someone else as well. can't we "cut" Harangody and sign him 2 years later off the D-League?
