Maybe.  But I think with Shaq and Delonte, the ending is different.

However, I don't see Dallas coming out of the West, so even if they do have our number, it really won't hurt us.

I'd love to see Jason Kidd guard Paul Pierce for an entire series.

  • You say when......
Ya, West will cause them problems, we still need more slashing. We are not a jump shooting team, and should never be. Terry was way to free, most don't really cover him. Kidd the same, if we did that, it would be nowitski, and if baby would try to harang him like haslem did before, it works well. Like the move when dirk BACKED BBD down, now THAT is stupid...baby let him, as if it would work to his advantage. That is bbd's strength, dirk shouldn't be able to back many down to post....

BBD is a weak spot vs dallas, unless he crshes the boards..and maybe works on his weight problem, and lack of lift.....related..hmmmmm. MD SHOULD be able to stop terry and also score 10-12 points..but i don't see it.

And although perk was pretty good on O, leaving chandler alone a few times is not a good idea of help.....Ray, great block on chandler...where was perk...? Help D is good, but only works when someone else covers your man...Otherwise, you do just what they want, pull out, leave the guy in the paint....

Not concerned about The Dallas Mavericks, in the slightest.

First, they have to prove to me that they can beat OKC's youth or San Antonio.

Of course I don't see them beating The Lakers, either - not in a seven game series. No matter the Lakers struggles this year thus far, that franchise is just too proud to go away like that.

In the event that Dallas proves me wrong, when next we meet in June, we'll have JO back in the rotation, a rested Shaq, and Perk will be about as "back" as he can get by then.

Oh - and we'll have Delonte as well.

Wouldn't it be deja vu if they somehow ended up seeded with the Clips...lead by Baron Davis, Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon?

The same Baron Davis that upset Dallas just a few years ago?

Yep - Dallas has plenty to worry about out west.
