Other than last nights game, that's one thing I thought the Celtics went away from since the first part of the season before he got injured. ShaQ should be getting more shots in the right spot where he can score at a ridiculous clip. He's shooting FG = 68%!! Earlier in the year before he got injured it was 70%. Maybe it was the foul trouble, maybe he was playing injured, maybe Rondo being out for a while made it harder for ShaQ to get high % touches in the right spot/position, maybe with KG being out combined with Davis thinking he should get all of KG's shots, contributed.

Does anyone have Glen Davis as a Starter or the "Ticket-Stub" stats and can compare them to his stats off the bench in 2010-2011 season?

Shaquille O'Neal has got great hands, a great feel for getting into the right spot inside or around the paint with/(or calling for) the basketball and after all these years he is still a dominant presence in the paint - still able to score almost at will and at a very high field goal percentage. It also doesn't hurt us that Shaq has won NBA championships with two of our rival teams, the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers. He also played for another one of our rivals, the Orlando Magic during the 90's. I'm thinking that the aforementioned teams simply aren't as good without Shaquille O'Neal on them. I mean, just look at the Cleveland Cavaliers for example. Sure, you can say that LeBron James carried that team offensively (and defensively), however Shaquille O'Neal was the guy who already had the experience of winning multiple NBA championships and his presence on that team provided much needed veteran leadership as well as instant offense. Shaquille O'Neal's might be the most efficient scorer in the league  8)

Awesome game from Shaq last night. I could tell he was tired, but he was amazing!

This confirms what I've observed: more shots and less rebounds especially per minute. Some of that could be due to playing against higher quality players when starting. What is his charge-taking stats like as a starter and reserve?

It would also be interesting to see what his starter and reserve stats are with lineups of Shaq/Baby/Pierce/Allen/Rondo and especially compared to other teams starting lineups to control for the quality of competition. It seems like Big Baby is doing less 'dirty-work' (rebounding, charge-taking, setting picks, etc) and more 'fun-work' (shooting) just because he's the 'Ticket-Stub' starting now.

You'd think playing with the caliber of players the Celtics starters are, his numbers would improve. Other than assists, everything is worse.

I guess you can make the competition argument, that he is now facing starting PF's instead of reserves, but what he has been trying to do (15+ foot jumpers all day) is bewildering in itself. Can't wait for KG and Perk to come back and ground BBD to like 15 mpg.
