i am just sad they wasted the MLE  on a guy who always has some sort of issue

Who would you have preferred?

someone that actually plays really. i mean by the time he gets right Perk will be back

The MLE-range guys this year were:

Travis Outlaw (5 years)
Drew Gooden (5 years)
Mike Miller (5 years)
Channing Frye (5 years)
Amir Johnson (5 years)
Josh Childress (5 years)
Al Harrington (5 years)
Linas Kleiza (4 years)
Steve Blake (4 years)
Luke Ridnour (4 years)
Hakim Warrick (4 years)
Anthony Morrow (3 years)
Brad Miller (3 years)
Ronnie Brewer (3 years)
Randy Foye (2 years)
Jermaine O'Neal (2 years)

Even with his injury issues, I'd rather have J.O. than every player on that list other than Morrow, and *maybe* Miller.  Based upon team needs, and the fact that Shaq wasn't a probability to sign here, I still think J.O. was the right choice.

Of that whole list, only Foye would have worked for the Celtics because they were not going over two years.

I willl probably consider Frye and Harrington too. I sitll thing JO fits the mold better, but those two are waking up this year and not only stat wise but with more intelligent ball

I wouldn't want either of them as a starting center, though (which is the hole Danny was trying to fill), and I wouldn't want to give either of them a 5 year deal.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

yes the 5 year deal hurt but playing wellboth are fully capable
the circunstance change after getting shaw I am absolutely certain about it.
I never saw JO as C but as F ala garnett style
Once a CrotorNat always a CROTORNAT  2 times CB draft Champion 2009-2012
