^agreed with Guava wrench..when I found out Durant was playing you just KNEW Westbrook was going to attack attack attack. I'm sure the C's knew that but c'mon now..no reason to lose to a team without Durant(and Green) at home..
As far as last night's game goes, the loss wasn't from the refs at all. Every time the Celt's were on a run closing the lead down to 5 or so points, they'd get a little too aggressive/sloppy and get a foul called on them(all legit calls) which killed all their momentum..every time. Looked like they'd give up after a call against them, then they'd get back into it again, get another call against them, rinse and repeat.
IMO that flagrant on Shaq was only a flagrant because Westbrook was going 98383 mph and bounced off Shaq..making it look worse than it really was.
The only call I really disagreed with was that "blocking" foul on Shaq that was clearly a charge..on Harden? Seriously? Someone like Harden can really knock Shaq over like that? Don't think so. I was with my friend at the game who is an OKC fan and even he agreed on that one.
Overall the Celtics didn't deserve to win this game at all..they need to play for 48 minutes, or as close to 48 minutes as possible..and not just turn it on in the 4th Q. I kinda knew they'd lose midway through the game anyways because of how lackadaisical(sp?) the team was..plus the fact they were only 1-6 at the time from 3 pt land. Not that they took a lot of 3s, or that they should live or die by the 3 ball, but it's going to be really hard to win a game playing lazy basketball, playing from behind, without getting any 3s.
Count me as someone that thought that 3 by Delonte was going in at the end of the game..I was sitting in section 7(behind backboard) so I didn't have the heads on view as someone watching on TV or someone sitting on the side of the court would, but man if that went in I would've blown up.
