It is that time of year again...... PREVIEWS....

Leading off is the Joey Crawford - David Stern fueled NBA champions  -

1. The Fakers - Roster

PG - Derek Fischer, Steve Blake (FA)
SG - Kobe A., Shannon Brown, and the Tennis Star
SF - Ronnie A., and Matt Barnes
PF - Gasoft, Lamar Odor
C - Bynum, Theo Ratliff

This team has quite a few aging players themselves. Injuries can hurt this team as bad as it can hurt the Celtics. Contrary to what happened in the finals, the Lakers are not a great rebounding team here. Still they have that Kobe A. and Gasoft Still this team will probably make it back to the finals and I don't want to think about the possibility of (I am throwing up on the keyboard  :-X )

2. LA Clippers -

PG - Baron Davis, Eric Gordan
SG - Randy Foye, Rasual Butler, Mardy Collins
SF - Ryan Gomes, Bryan Cook
PF - Blake Griffin, Craig Smith
C - Chris Kaman, Jake Voshkal

These ain't your father or uncles Clippers. This team is ready to compete for attention in Tinsel Town and give their cross town cousins heartburn. Blake Griffin is the key here. I also noticed Randy Foye, Rasual Butler and Ryan Gomes here. Go Clippers Go!

3. Phoenix Suns

PG - Steve Nash, Goran Dragic
SG - Jason Richardson, Josh Childress
SF - Hedo Turkoglu, Grant Hill
PF - Channing Frye, Hakim Warrick
C - Robin Lopez, Earl Warrick

Team still has talent but it is not deep. They will score a lot and give up a lot of points. This team is no different than the other Phoenix teams - in other words one (or maybe two) and done in the Playoffs

4. Sacremento

PG - Tyreke Evans, Luther Head, Pooh Jeter
SG - Beno Udrih, Antione Wright
SF - Francisco Garcia, Omri Casspi
PF - DeMarcus Cousins, Donte Green, Carl Landry,
C - Sam Dalembert, Jason Thomson, Hassan Whiteside

Young team that won't get much accomplished win wise.

5. Golden State

PG - Monte Ellis, Charlie Bell
SG - Stephan Curry, Rodney Carney, Reggie Williams
SF - Brandon Wright, Vlad Radmanovic
PF - Andris Beidrans, Louis Admundson
C - David Lee, Dan Gadzuric

We better beat these turkeys out here this time. I bet you this is not the same cast of characters playing here in March.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Interesting note -- The Lakers are trying for their fourth straight Finals appearance this season.

Only three teams in the History of the league have done that before. The 1984-87 Celtics, the 1982-85 Lakers and the Celtics of the late 1950s and 1960s.

That would be quite the achievement. To put themselves amongst that group of teams.
