  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
I don't think I ever posted my minutes breakdown. Here is a baseline of what I'd be looking at, though since these guys are flexible it is subject to change:

PG: Jason Terry (26), Ty Lawson (22), (Roger Mason)
SG: Joe Johnson (30), Vince Carter (12), Jason Terry (6), (Roger Mason)
SF: Vince Carter (16), Andrei Kirilenko (20), Joe Johnson (4) Mike Dunleavy (8*)
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge (26), Andrei Kirilenko (12), Amir Johnson (10), (Josh McRoberts)
C: Andris Biedrins (20), Cole Aldrich (12), LaMarcus Aldridge (8*), Nikola Pekovic (8*)

I don't really like breaking the roster down by position because I think it's more fluid than 5 stiff, defined positions, but I didn't want to get left behind. These figures are all fluid based on matchups and in-season performance. Also, the max playing time someone is getting in this hypothetical is 34 minutes, but that's obviously going to change in real game situations - this is just a guide.

Also, brief spots of a Lawson/Terry/Johnson 1-2-3 are getting thrown into the mix, since it worked well for the Hawks when they went Bibby/Crawford/Johnson in stretches (62% win percentage). Kirilenko/Aldridge or Biedrins or Aldrich would likely be the two bigs in that scenario.

Thoughts?
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Let me just say that I don't like Vince Carter as a player, and relying on Andris Biedrins is a poor move, because where that guy is going is anyone's guess. Its like gambling on Andray Blatche, except instead of hoping your guy isn't crazy, you're hoping he's got a set and can stay healthy.

That said I still have you having the best record in the Southeast.

Regarding your lineup, more Lawson, less Carter.

Yeah, hopefully last year was a down year for Carter in terms of what I hope for him on this fantasy team. Personally though, I hate having to hypothetically root for him. Seriously, that guy can go eat a big bowl of piping hot dicks. In GM speak, though, hopefully not having him as the primary option at either position will free him up to score more and do what he does best. I think ego-wise he needs to start, but AK will be the go-to guy at the 3 more often, hence more minutes.

As far as Biedrins, meh. I need him for 20 good minutes a game, and possibly less if Aldrich/Pekovic live up to expectations. All he has to do is rebound and then get rid of the ball while playing passable defense, which he can do. His career average is a rebound in under 3 minutes of PT, and he can finish around the hoop (lowest career fg% = 57.7%). I'm not going to try to sell him as anything more than that, but in short minutes with a very defined, simple role, I think he'll be just fine.
