I'm not sure what to expect from this team. I don't know how Wade and Lebron fit together exactly. They could be really bad in the half court because of a lack of shooting and sticky hands. I can't wait to see how this thing plays out.
I think Lebron can play with anyone since he is so good on defense and a great passer.

They need a PG who can bury it from 3, or Wade needs to really improve his 3. They also need a big man who is more physical than Bosh.

I hope Lebron works on his post moves this offseason now that he is playing will another elite wing. He could brutalize a lot of SFs when defenders can't help off of Bosh and Wade, especially if they get a 3pt specialist PG.

Chris Bosh never scared me. They still don't have enough defense or rebounding to do anything significant AND our defense is designed to stop these types of players. It's not like they're going to get 3 balls to shoot on offense.

exactly. everyone is quick to compare them to our big three, but our team made championship defense the #1 focus since day 1. I don't see the Heat having the roster to play great defense. Ainge sounds like he believes the celtics will be even better next year, and I think a big part of it is believing that KG will be much better next year. My only concern is that we won't have Thibs to come up with defensive strategies to use against the heat.

That would be so great. Imo, the Heat bandwagon is overflowing right now. I have friends who cheered for the Magic last year who have already abondoned them for Miami. The "old" big three(&rondo) taking out the "new" big 3 would just be incredible...

Again this teams success is completely dependant on who else they can bring in.

Do I think they can get the right pieces year one? No. But over the next 2-3 years there will be enough players willing to take paycuts in order to fill that roster with really nice role players.

I still think Chicago was the win now option and miami was the win for the long term option.

Yes, indeed. I am quite psyched.

If only we still had Thibs I would buy in that we could still win it all... but in any case Eric as a coach really doesn't scare me. I don't think he will utilize the talent to its full potential... much like Mike Brown and Lebron. Phil Jackson, Riley, or Pop coaching that team and I would actually be scared.
