This article by Kelly Dwyer is quite entertaining, calling this contract as of right now, the WORST contract in the history of the league.

He is, on a championship team, a 2 option, maybe even a 3 option.  The Hawks have basically just made an announcement to the league that they aren't winning a championship any time soon, or ever...with the way this team is built.

Worse that Rashard Lewis', or tied?  In a lot of ways, this article could have been written two years ago about Orlando.

Very good #2 players being paid like they are superduperstars.  Here's a tip for owners; if your "star" isn't someone that helps fill up arenas when you go on the road, he probably ain't worth a max contract!
