If you are bored it must just be because of your lack of interest and imagination. Bored with the LeJames hype, sure. Bored with the orgy of self absorbed multimillionaires wallowing in a sea of media frenzy and fawning executives 24/7, I get it. But the machinations surrounding the replacement of most of our team using nothing more than Sheed's contract, the MLE, rookie and vet min contracts, and perhaps a sign&trade--that's critical, fascinating, and will directly determine whether you spend the next year watching a declining team fall farther and farther behind the leaders, or watch a blending of the old guard with increasingly important youth to make a stronger contender rather than a weaker one. As for your "not being in the know," Danny's hands would be tied if his thoughts were laid out just to satisfy your desire to know. For a GM to operate most effectively he keeps his left hand only partially informed about the secret desires of his right, much less the other GM's, very much less the general public. If you hear "rumors" then agents or other GM's are talking, or Danny sees value in a "leak."
Sorry about that crack about lack of imagination. I find this time fascinating and while I might be anxious, I am certainly not bored. Nothing personal.
