Why No Nate?

I dont really understand why Nate got himself put in the doghouse here. Does Doc not trust the new guy? I dont really get it. We need bench scoring and he can provide that. When TA runs the point guard position the offense is much too stagnant. Nate may be a bit on the small side but he is someone who can run the offense.

  I think that the problem with Nate is that he wasn't providing bench scoring, trying to be more of a distributor/facilitator and an unselfish player than a scorer.

Pretty simple.  Nate was not playing well.  He showed flashes, but was very inconsistent.  To contrast, Tony Allen has been playing the best basketball of his career, and Finley has been very consistent.

Doc has shortened the rotation, deciding that Rondo needs to play a ton of minutes, and when he is not in there, the most important thing is maintaining the defense.  Therefore, Tony becomes the backup PG defensively, and there is no room for Nate in the regular rotation.

TA is equally ineffective at the point as a facilitator but gives more on Def. TA and Finley are a better pairing.
