Well he's not playing for Boston so in the end I don't care. But he is if someone wants to pay him to be one.

Is there any way he can play for us? Any way to package Perk and BBD plus something else for Bosh if Toronto signs and trades him to us? Toronto should jump at this since he is gonna walk anyway and they get the toughness in Perk that they are lacking.

Love to see him with Rondo for now and the future.

He's worth a max deal but I don't think he'll ever be a MVP in the league.

If he leaves Toronto, which is far from a certainty, it will be as a S&T. No reason the Celtics can't make an offer. However, if they do - they're tying their wagon to Rondo-Bosh for the next five years. I'm not sure that's entirely wise. Although it's premature to speculate until we see if the offseason is about rebuilding, reloading on the fly, or just tuning up.

Perk, incidentally, would be an excellent fit in Toronto.

He will get multiple offers of max money, therefor he is absolutely worthy of it.  I am surprised there is even any debate about this.

Contracts are all relative.  I would argue that no NBA players are actually worthy of the money they make, however, the market sets their value, and it is hard to argue with it.

here here! not to get too philisophical here or change the topic, but i wonder if any human on the face of the earth is worthy of the money some of these guys make. And that goes for all pro sports.   personally, makes it hard for me to be a fan sometimes.

bosh specifically is a classic great #2 man on a team - so if you can afford 2 max guys then ok, but he is not a #1 guy.
