Year and a half.......HAHAHA Lakers are funny. Can't wait to wreck them if the Nuggets don't do it themselves.

LOL. I love how he's trying to distance himself from that humiliation by making it seem longer ago than it really was.

Sounds like Jackson's smugness is rubbing off of him. Since Kobe's is injured and he can't passive aggressively complain to the media about his ballhogging I guess he has to have someone else to mouth off about.

Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

listen if you worked for a franchise that has been getting pummeled by the same franchise for 40 years+, you would say some questionable things too. the lakers would have about 30 titles if it was not for us. no wonder they have an inferiority complex.

Only if you include titles from another team in Minnesota that had the same last name.

Celtics are the better franchise by one metric (titles)

The Lakers are better by the other (the Celtics have had more periods in the history of the NBA when they have been outright bad - the Lakers have very very very rarely been an actual lousy team)

Just a matter of taste

I think you just reduced the whole Boston/LA rivalry to "a matter of taste".
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

titles are the only thing that matters. If you come in second or 12th or 26, you are still a loser.

Pau also shouldn't forget that Derek Fisher is 35, Kobe is 31 going on 32, Lamar's 30, and he's nearly 30.  They're younger than the C's, yes.  But not by that much.
