listen if you worked for a franchise that has been getting pummeled by the same franchise for 40 years+, you would say some questionable things too. the lakers would have about 30 titles if it was not for us. no wonder they have an inferiority complex.

It's funny how the fans of the top trash-talking team in the NBA complain about, well, trash-talking.  ::)

trash talking on the court is a whole different matter than trash talking to the media.

Go ahead and keep talking about us.  If they aren't focused on their own team, Denver or Dallas will smack them - neither team is to be taken lightly.

I feel like some context was lost on these answers, but that's relevant unless the Celtics and Lakers meet in the NBA Finals.

Really tired tonight neither Phil nor I slept well after Celtics loss. Sucks to have a weekend off after a LOSS. Next game not until Tues.

She can talk all she wants.

Lakers are being mouthy ...

... of course we are the mouthiest team in the league by a wide wide margin, so I am not sure how angry to get

yea, we are a mouthy team on the court, but off the court our guys are classy, they dont take it to the media

they are classy off the court aside from pierce's lapses in taste ... the technical fouls on the court are not classy san diego

love the fire - but it is what it is

I think the Lakers really planned on beating us without Kobe - can you imagine the bragging points? Well we shut those plans down.

And their win in Boston? By one point? With one of our Kobe Defenders (Marquis) still out?

I have no qualms about us beating them without Kobe. I took the win as if they had their full squad. They are now starting to see how we have dealt with our injuries - let see how they can continue to respond.

Kobe is not invincible - he is maybe the best player in the game right now, but he is a year younger than Pierce - and subject to nagging injuries as well. They are due for some.

We have had our stretch of injuries and now we are getting back to near full strength.

It's also funny how nearly every time I visit their blog, they still have heartburn for Pierce's Wheelchair incident in the Finals, lol...they can't let it go.

Out of respect for their blog, I didn't even visit it after our win in LA a few days ago - I'm sure I would have gotten the "Kobe didn't play" comments, so I didn't even bother.

Only if you include titles from another team in Minnesota that had the same last name.

"Stay classy San Diego" was Ron Burgundy's sign off in Anchorman.
