This is the second Valentines Day with my fiancee', so it means a lot more than it used to ... but I do think some people take it too far.

I don't even think women take this day seriously. you just gotta do something that makes other men look bad.

I once asked a guy that had been married for a long time (probably like 35 years) what to do for Valentine's day and he was like "Buy flowers and candy" and I was like "that's it?" and he repeated "flowers and candy".

Just do something creative like cook something unusual or creative or that needs a modicum of skill or something like osterich and rich and play a cool cd and at the end give her the cd.

Why am I giving you my moves?

flowers are always smart...but i hate them

i like something that will win you points and benefit you....

for me,,,wine from our favorite vineyard in the cape,,,,she loves it, and it benefits me twofold  :o

I will have been with my girlfriend for three years as of February 22nd.

Her birthday is on February 27th.

You can just imagine after Christmas being followed up by Valentines Day, Anniversary, and Birthday... it's kind of ridiculous. Thankfully, neither of us care about Valentine's Day whatsoever. Flowers are nice to give to her, or chocolates, or something small. However, no big gifts are exchanged. I've never been a big fan of Valentine's Day... to me, that's what Anniversary's are for, and if you don't have a significant other Valentine's Day can be a difficult time I suppose. Really, not a good Holiday at all.

Lol I also call it Singles Awareness Day, didn't know other people say that. When I tell people that's what I call it they usually think I am clever. I guess I'm not that clever after all.
