Trade idea: Cavs-Rockets

Not what you might expect, perhaps.

Cleveland trades Delonte West and Shaquille O'Neal to Houston for Tracy McGrady.

Shaq negotiates a buyout with the Rockets, and returns to Cleveland in time for the playoffs.

The move preserves Cleveland's ability to explore trade options involving Ilgauskas' big expiring deal (for Jamison or Murphy).

Thoughts? I came up with this while reading Hollinger's chat this morning: both Shaq and Delonte were out of tonight's lineup, despite both having participated in the morning shootaround.

Delonte West is more valuable than McGrady.
