It feels like its been quite some time since we've had our full team on the floor. I wonder how long it would take before KG suits up, realistically.

KG ??

what about marquis daniels, who seems to be the forgotten man who was really the glue guy that made the 2nd group play much more effectively together.

get back KG and Daniels, then get BBD back in game shape - then maybe we can talk about full strength ....... which is what we have to have come springtime to have a good shot at aa title.

[dang], i want to see this group get one more flag.

I think it will be at least a week more ... maybe ten days. We all knew that our success this season would depend on our players staying healthy, and we all knew that having three "older" core players meant rolling the dice in that respect.

Yes, we want to be at our best all the time, because giving up games like these against a team like Atlanta that are so close, is that much harder to swallow when realizing that just having a KG, or a 'Quis, or a Paul at 100%, could have easily made the difference.

But it is still the regular season, and while we want to command home-court, it's not always a factor that makes the difference, especially when you've been as successful on the road as we have this year. We're always playing to win, that's what every team wants to do, but let's keep our eyes on the "Big Picture" too, and try as best we can to hone our skills and health issues for the Playoffs.

Yep. And I think we will have to wait until the All-Star break to get everyone healthy... assuming Marquis comes back in time and nobody gets hurt during the month of January and early February.

Is anyone that surprised? The goal of this team should be to get to the postseason healthy. If it means putting a hard cap on minutes at 35 for any player, sitting Ray, Paul, and KG on a rotating schedule of back to backs, and finishing barely above .500, then that's what we should do.

I agree getting everyone helathy is the goal, but finishing barely above .500 would be a very bad thing and probably a first-round playoff loss.

I know we keep talking about how dominant we think this team may be when they're at full-strenghth like its a certainty.

I sure hope so but, I'm starting to have my doubts if we'll ever have the entire unit in tact and healthy.  Seems like the trend is that we get someone back, then lose someone, get someone else back, then lose another person.

Hopefully, things turn the corner but I do think we have to prepare ourselves for the mindset that full-strength might not be a reality this season.

In the postgame show after the Atlanta game Greg Dickerson said that KG told Doc he could play if he needed him but Doc said its best to hold him out a bit longer...it sounds like he close to coming back.

I think it's a safe bet that the C's won't be fully healthy at the start of, or throughout, the playoffs.  It will be largely luck that plays into who, how bad and for how long.   That said, I am interested in knowing just how much worse off the C's have been injury-wise than other teams. Let's not forget that every team has dealt with, and will deal with, injuries.

One thing i will go out on a limb and say, this team can't win a championship without KG being healthy, simple as that.

KG is surely missed. As someone said, other teams can and will have injuries too, but I feel guilty just thinking about that too much. I want our team to win another C now, but love watching them play whether we win or lose. I'm not one to leave the arena early when my team is losing. It would sure be nice, though, to be able to see the whole team play together for once this regular season.

I seriously hope we have all our boys back come jan 31 when LAL come into town. It would be a great to get a W that day. After all they did sweep the season series last year.

I cannot emphasis just how much I hate them.

Here's to KG, Marquis and Baby.
