People need to realize that KG is not 100% and probably won't be for another 2 or 3 months ... that's just the reality of this type of injury/surgery. The good thing is that this type of problem responds best to strenuous physical activity, meaning he doesn't need to rest it much. Doc saw that he was favoring it while walking into the building and could tell he was a little sore, so decided to rest him.
He may have to do it again, (and more than once), before the end of the regular season, so get used to it and
DON'T WORRY ... this is a
NORMAL part of the recovery process. You also have to realize, the post-season is
EVERYTHING, and that big picture is what they always have in mind ... they don't want to take any chances before then and if that means being overly-cautious at times, so be it.
They also want our showing on Christmas Day to be a positive thing, including Big Ticket. It's not the end of the world and it's not that they're trying to hide that it's worse than we think ... it's
NOT, and KG is
FINE. He'll be jamming again on Friday, so everyone chill ... it will be a good Christmas for KG and the Celtics.
