ssspence, you said to show you all these articles that were referring to Bayless as a third string point guard. I could have link about 1000 more because most place refer back to last night's AP article calling him a third stringer. I have now shown you several articles calling him a third stringer.

I don't agree with anything you have to say on the subject. What I have always stood by is that you started talking the fabulous resume of one Jerryd Bayless being untouchable for Big Baby simply because he has a career game. Taking a look at both players' resumes, it's fairly obvious to me that Baby could and would be traded one up for Bayless if it was possible under the salary restrictions.

I said I would talk about this again after Bayless was stopped being called a third stringer in newspaper and websites across the country and web. You said you never saw such articles and I was only providing conjecture. Well, I provided proof of my claim and will now no longer discuss this with you until Bayless stops being mentioned as a third stringer, if ever.

Although is no Lamar Odom or Drew Gooden the following teams are interested in Big Baby: Detroit Pistons, New Orleans Hornets, Portland Trailblazers and the New Jersey Nets.

Other possible suitors for Davis include the Pistons, Hornets, and Trail Blazers.

I recall these articles -- I posted this trade idea that has Davis going to Portland in the first place, remember? He would be a good fit there. But they're not going to ship a player with the upside of Bayless out for Glen Davis alone. If they could have signed him last summer, why didn't they? Because he was an RFA? Didn't stop them from signing Millsap to an offer sheet. Now they want to give up a productive young scorer for him? You’d need to add more for the Blazers in a trade. And if the Blazers do a deal anytime soon, a healthy 3 is going to be their priority.

Yes, I'd say we disagree on this topic. I also posted articles about how Bayless is coming into his own and they don't wish to trade him. There is absolutely no reason for the Blazers to give up a player of Bayless' potential for one who a) has less, b) is injured, and c) they could have signed in the offseason but didn't. You're overvaluing Davis -- a guy who signed the single worst RFA contract of the summer (thankfully) -- and you're discounting Portland's plans for Bayless. Ask a non-Celtics fan and maybe your rose-tinted glasses will turn clear.
