I like this AI.
You know that it won't last.
he'll play okay until all of the media hype is over, to prove a point.

You're right. They're down 10 and just like that the loudest game the sixers have played so far this season will end...not with a bang (or a cheer) but with a whisper.

Looks like the bench cost them, judging by the box score.

2 points on 1-15 shooting, 0-7 behind the arc... 5 rebounds, an assist, a steal, 2 turnovers and 4 fouls.

Yuck.

AI needed to be more aggressive, but I am sure the time off didn't help, plus tons of people telling and trying to change the way AI plays the game has gotten to him.

Maybe you like the guy, maybe you don't ... there is no shortage here of either, but I see a lot of people ready to judge the rest of the guy's career by his return game. Keep in mind: AI has not played for a long time, he's in his old town but with a completely new team, he's under an amazing amount of pressure and scrutiny, both internally and out, (and that comes with the territory, understandably), along with the other pressures that all NBA players have to deal with.

Is this going to work? Is he going to be the player he once was and turn this team into a winner again? A lot of questions being asked, and many people already answering them ... all I can say is, whether you're a supporter/fan or not, (and I'm mixed, at this point), give the guy a break ... none of those questions can be answered now. Let him get acclimated to this team, let some time pass before you're ready to put a laurel around his head or throw him under the bus ... it's going to be a while before we really know how this experiment turns out.
