I went to the Nets/Bobcats game. Personally, he didn't wow me, but it was his first game back. He did get 3 assists, which is more than even Daniels is averaging (2.1), and in 16 minutes. I have YES, so I can watch him more on TV.

I wonder if he's come up on the C's radar.  He's one of the only semi-realistic targets I can come up with that would potentially improve the C's without costing too much.

How do you figure he wouldn't cost too much?  He is a very good prospect, and was the main piece they got back in the Carter deal.  They are not giving up Lee without getting significant value back.  So unless the C's are planning to give up one of their top 5 guys, or multiple first rounders, Lee is not on the radar.

Once again I get sucked in to reading an absurd trade thread. 

Courtney Lee was just a major piece in the Vince Carter trade.   He's a building block.   He's not a throwaway for them, but a piece to move forward with. 

Celtics fans, you need to start watching other teams to get a better handle on the league and our competition.  While we're on it, How about a Scal/Giddens/Tony Allen for LeBron?

Courtney Lee is a nice player (and NJ definitely isn't moving him for anyone on our bench, cap space or not) but I'm still bewildered at how much NJ overpaid for him.  I like Ryan Anderson just as much as an overall prospect. 

I think Keyon Dooling is the only sensible target for the C's.  He's not doing the Nets much good as is and the C's can save them some money this year and whatever it would cost to cut him next year by giving them Tony Allen and Lester Hudson.

Dooling's got the size to play a little 2-guard and the ball-skills to initiate the offense much better than House and Daniels.  He's also an average shooter from deep, which makes him more of a threat than Tony and Marquis off the ball.

He's injured.

He just came back from whatever hip injury was bothering him for his first action of the season last night.  What do you think of him as a player

I like dooling -- i've made trade proposals for him in the past. but considering his deal is non-guaranteed next year i don't see why their motivated to trade him when he's a tough veteran, something they need badly right now. we have nothing to offer them for him.
