Tommy right in saying they should have won going away. The offensive execution in the third period was sad. Glad they got it back.

It's amazing how the offense can come to a standstill at times when Rondo is not running the offense.

I'd prefer Scals running point instead of House. :-\

I loved having Perk in there during crunch time, maybe it was cause he was having such a solid game, maybe it was because he wasn't in foul trouble, but I loved having him in at the end.
Actually, it was because needed to defend a lead, rather than play catch.

House had a pretty average game w.r.t ball handling BUT he did hit one timely 3 in the fourth which was great to see.

He'll come back.

Props to KG.  That is a no brainer.

Props to Rondo and Perk for so much stuff that they did tonight to take back control of a game that we were about to let slip away.

Well we were down in the 4th quarter for a while actually and Doc went with Perk instead of Sheed. My point is that I don't think you need to play Sheed necessarily even if you are trying to play "catch". Okay maybe if you need volume scoring (3 pointers) or something but I think Perk is a decent post offensive option, and his defense is clearly above wallaces. We weren't really holding our lead until the last 2 minutes. Other than that we were playing "catch" during the 4th quarter

Just saw the game! I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I wonder if I'm the only one who felt that the Heat benefited from a lot of calls while we could drive to the paint all night long without getting free throws. Our 3rd quarter was atrocious but I felt like our players didn't go in the paint anymore because they knew they weren't getting any love from the refs... Sheed got owned by Beasley in that quarter and our defense was awful, but I was glad to see how we executed with confidence in the 4th quarter. Ray Allen had a poor shooting night (and got burned by Wade several times) but he still hit the big shot at the end, which would have killed the Heat if they didn't benefit from 4 free throws just after this shot (fortunately Jermaine O'Neal choked big time).

Paul Pierce struggled too, as Marquis did (his worse game as a Celtic I think), but Rondo was just GREAT! Excellent decisions, hustle plays, amazing layups, great passes, you name it... and Perk did an excellent job too. I loved how Sheed attacked in the post early in the game, really effective and a beauty to watch his moves. Unfortunately, the refs are really targeting him since he got called for a Technical for NOTHING (I mean, if you call that a T, you have to call it every time after a player argues that he was fouled...). Also, he never gets free throws while there is obvious fouls on his arms... so frustrating.

Finally, KG had a great game. Good on D (not great), but absolutely unstoppable on O! 11/12 after 6/6 against Toronto, talk about perfection! Plus, he hit big shots in the last minutes. Excellent job, his best game since his return from the injury. Hopefully he can continue in that way.

I hope all the road games won't be so close, so we can rest our starters, but definitely an encouraging win and a proof that the team can still close games strongly.
