Its the same idea as the Nocioni rumor except we take Marko Jaric instead.  He duplicates Nocioni's skill set, except he and Quis can switch between PG and SF because he plays guard.  Also his contract expires after next season so he's more movable.

There are two fairweatherfan's on here?!?!

I would much rather have Nocioni than Jaric. I don't know if I would even give up Tony Allen for Jaric... I would trade Tony Allen for Jaric's wife though.

I'd be surprised if Jaric ever plays another NBA game.

Can you please post the actual trade.  I find the ESPN "trade" links never work for me.  I just get a fresh trade machine page.

Not a fan of Jaric's game -- I simply don't think he's up to much and hasn't been for quite a long time (since the rule changes on hand-checking on the perimeter when he was solid big point guard).

A poor + inefficient scorer. A sub-par rebounder for a wing. A serviceable but below average defender for a wing and a liability as a point guard. A solid passer + ball-handler for a wing, below average for a PG, who doesn't bring much value with those skills.

I think Jaric is a net negative out there on the court. He costs a team more than he contributes.

I liked Jaric a few years ago, but he hasn't played in a long time.  I think that is too much salary next year to pick up, without seeing the guy play this year.
