No bbiq goes into his rankings.
No personal bias either, for what it's worth.

Wow, this one really isn't very kind to the cavs:

Which is fine with me but i wouldn0t have expected Schuhmann to actually do that...

Course it has the celtics on top, but then again anything else would have been ridicolous.

Exactly, Mark Stein is the only one I give any credence to.

That's fine but really there are 78 regular season games and 4 levels of playoffs to go through before we reach our goal of being #1 by the end of June, 2010.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

Wow ... this is one of the first times I've ever almost completely agreed with this list! Granted, it's only been a week, but they pretty much nailed it here ... I've been surprised, (pleasantly), by the Nuggets and Milwaukee, and Cleveland has been a disappointment. Good analysis this week and pretty much spot-on.

Looks like he's basing it strictly on what's happened on the court.  I kinda like that approach; even though no one realistically thinks Cleveland is the 15th best team in the league, you can definitely argue they've had the 15th best performance of the first week.  Taking preconceptions out of the equation makes for an interesting alternative take.
