Agreed as well.  The team played sloppy yesterday, but they played hard and got back into the game.  At least for the last three quarters, the team played hard and was mostly focused, even if they did choke a bit toward the end.

Losses happen.  I'm not worried that one quarter of bad basketball outweighs Games 1 through 3.

If wade goes berserk and hits 3s after 3, pouring in 46 points, then he deserves to have his team win the game.

Having said that, it won't happen again. Go Celtics!!

It's kind of scary that it could happen again. I can totally picture it. I just cant picture the rest of his team giving the same effort in what should be a raucus Boston crowd.

I definitely think Wade could have another performance like that.  I don't, however, think he can have *three* performances like that.

As Jeff said on the front page, Wade gave us everything he had, and we still almost won (and would have, but for the sloppy 1st quarter.)  There's no doubt in my mind that we'll get by Miami without a major heart attack.

The scarier thing, of course, is Cleveland.  However, if they play with energy and focus, they can beat them.

Two weeks ago I was convinced they couldn't beat Cleveland.

watching Cleveland against Chicago and Boston's first three game, I think I am now with you Roy. If they continue to play the way they have, don't take whole quarters off and can get a lift from a couple of bench players every game regardless of who those players are, they can not only beat Cleveland, they can beat anyone.

No one has looked unbeatable in this first round as 7 game matups have shown holes in every team's game.

Orlando - get Howard in foul trouble and stifle Nelson
LA - run on them and don't stop and bust them inside in the half court
Atlanta - just be solid every game and they will disappear for 3 games out of 7.
Dallas - they are done
Denver - Them too.
Utah - double Williams on the outside and deny him the ball when he gives it up
Etc Etc

True. Great parity in the playoffs this year when for a long time it was looking like a lock to see Ceveland v. LA in the finals.

I'm with you, Nick.  I was feeling uneasy before the playoffs started, but with all I've seen, it's wide open right now.

Boston has an answer for each team you listed as well as all of the ones you didn't.  It's just a matter of health, execution and some luck.  That's the playoffs in a nutshell for a contending team.
