I want to see them all but in particular:
Rondo: to see if he's developed a consistant jumper and overall consistancy in his game.
KG: to see if he's back to his championship form
Perk: Well, Perk's my favorite.  I also want to see if he's developed any other new offensive moves.
Daniels: To see how he meshes with the team.
Sheed: See Daniels.
Walker: it means either we blew out the other team or he's developed into a contributor.  Either case is good for me.
Giddens: See Walker
Hudson: See Walker.

But most of all, the player I'd like to see: The player they acquire in the much-desired and anticipated trade of TA and Scal.   ;D

Firstly to see Rondo develop into an elite PG. Second the craziness that will be Sheed+KG.

I'm most interested to see if Rondo can put his game together to the point where he's a double-digit scorer practically every night.  Rondo scored in single digits in something like 36 out of 80 games last season.  To become an elite point guard, he needs to be scoring 10+ almost every night.

Also, of course, I'm curious to see how KG recovers.  It will be exciting to see Rasheed and Marquis, too, but I'm most interested in Rondo and KG; those two are the key to a championship for us, I think.

Agreed about Rondo.  This is a huge year for him, and also for the future of this franchise.  I expect that both he and the C's will agree that the best course of action is for him to play out the year, and discuss an extension next summer, and how he develops this year, both with his shot, and more importantly, his overall consistency and focus, will decide whether he signs a huge deal as the future cornerstone of this organization, or if he is shopped in a sign and trade this offseason.

Oh yeah, and if he makes the "leap", he could be the nail in the coffin for any other team in the league competing for a championship.

The other guys I am most interested in seeing are Rasheed, and Walker.  Wallace, because I am curious whether his game really has deteriorated as much as some say (like Simmons), or if he just has been in a bad situation in Detroit the last year or two, and he will be rejuvenated in Boston.  And Walker, because if he can learn to you know, play basketball, could be a hell of an answer as a Lebron pest for 5-10 minutes per game (Lebron stoppers don't exist, but Walker is perfectly built, and has the mentality to really drive him nuts for short stretches).

KG and Paul, health concerns
Rondo, to see if his game continues to grow
Sheed, its Sheed.

I also want to see if Kobe and Artest can coexisit.

  • Rondo = Good
I want to see KG come back and play as well as we've all come to expect him to play.  Everybody else is really secondary; if KG comes back healthy and strong, then we can feel good about our chances this year.  If he doesn't, it doesn't really matter how anybody else plays.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Give me Sheed, KG, and Billy all on the floor at once.  They'd probably start a fight.

But seriously... KG, to see how he comes back.  Sheed and Daniels, to see how much they can help us.  Billy, to see if he can break into the rotation.  Giddens for the same reason, though to a lesser degree.  Rondo, to see if he can fulfill the promise he showed early in the playoffs last year.  Ray and Paul, to see how much they have left.

And that's just on our team.

Actually, I will add Hudson to the list.  Not because I think he can make the team, but because I have never really seen him play, but he sounds like he has a very intriguing skillset.  It will be interesting to see if he is really an NBA player.

This. KG's health is one of the most important if not the most important factor in the Celtics' championship hopes this season. I'm eager to see how his knee is when the season starts.

Rondo is #2. Will he play like a disgruntled man, and let all this off-season crap get into his head, or will he remain focused and keep on developing into one of the best PGs in the game?
